LESS TIME THINKING MORE TIME COMPUTING
INTEL OPTANE P4800X & D4800X SSDs
Workloads aren’t what they used to be. Today’s enterprises have to handle a variety of data types which means it is harder than ever to predict workloads. Intel’s Optane SSDs help to bring agility to the datacenter.
As a provider of cloud hosting services, your storage is a hugely critical part of your infrastructure. Your customers rely on fast and highly available access to the data stored on your platform. Furthermore, todays customers demand the ability to scale-up and scale down. Ranging from websites to CRMs, your server clusters will have to handle a variety of workloads.
The success of cloud environments based on distributed storage systems with multiple storage tiers depends, largely, on the performance of read and write to cache. In such architectures, the ability to retrieve “hot” data effectively from cache, or store to cache, is critical. This is precisely where the Intel Optane SSD P4800X shines.
